More fun with texture overlays! This texture is actually a macro shot of the ice that formed on the creek next to my job.
I put it on a layer above my headshot and set it to "soft light" blend mode.. Then erased where the eyes and lips were. Did a seperate area of texture for the lips to show a different pattern.
Then I tweaked the eyes with my standard eye actions, only cranked it up to the surreal level and presto!! I look like a burn victim! lol

Yea, I know what you mean.. I actually suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over my right hand and arm about 15 yrs ago.. Not a pretty thing to go through and I def wouldn't wish it on anyone..

Unfortunately, I've seen burned people. This is creepy. But have to admit well done to generate such an internal reaction.
