The Palatine Chapel is the royal chapel of the Norman kings of Sicily located on the ground floor of the Palazzo Reale in Palermo. While the ceilings are painted, the walls of the chapel are entirely decorated with mosaics. The interior is very dimly lit and I was shooting hand-held so grain is very pronounced.
