Comment by Cierra on January 16, 2013 at 10:43am yes Mark, the 4-8-4's are huge; some 115 to 125 feet long. Thank you for acknowledging the feat of getting almost all of it in. That building was smallish..and it house's 3 other Loco's. Including the orange and red Daylight steamer I feature on here often (also a 4-8-4). In fact the red hues on this one is from the Daylight which is just out of frame on the left.

I like the lines in this shot; the fact that you can just see where the wall meets the ceiling all the way down the shed highlights the impressive size of this engine. I also like the way that the relatively modern ceiling and wall fittings contrast with the steam age engineering of the locomotive.
