There are Kestrels in each and they tend to have their favourite perches and areas. The thing that I have noticed and that seems to get me close to them is this. All animals have more of a sense of being stared at than humans. Once you spot them, be aware that they already know you are there. never walk directly toward them and only look directly at them when you are going to take the image. Above all, respect their space.
OMG this is a top shot so lovely for me i would have cropped off the left hand side of the light a little less so the bird was more important but that is just me still a fantastic image
