A thoughtful capture , looking at the capture and the title , reminded me of an old hindi song , which has lines 

Woh jo ishq tha woh junoon tha,
That love was passion that wouldn't abate

Yeh jo hijr hai ye naseeb hai.
This separation is indeed fate

The isolation depicted in your capture is its fate and you have captured the whole story of life :-) . Well captured

Nicely done Penny. Reminds me of a Vanscoy piece which we have on our living room wall, simple but very eye catching.

Another wonderful shot Penny. The relatively low and flat horizon appears to work extremely well in these kind of shots - I saw that you applied the same formula to some of your earlier images with equally stunning results. So good.
