After a two mile hike up the North Loop trail I began looking for a tree to set up for a sunset shot. I picked this one and the light and clouds worked in my favor. I was the only person up there as the sun began to set and the light show began. These bristlecone pines only grow in high altitudes. Up here they are big, old, and twisted. I find them so interesting and photogenic. Thanks for the visits and comments!— at Mount Charleston.
