Your composition of the hand of the new born child set in the hand of the adult works well to create a sense of scale. The only thing is that you have hard shadows of both hands. If you can turn the flash away from the hands and bounce it from the wall the shadow would be softer. That is only my opinion :))) Congrads on the photo of the day!!!
