I have always liked the work of Norman Rockwell. I even liked it when I was in Art School and those who did were ridiculed. I am old enough now to now worry about ridicule and I would hope that while Norman Rockwell was basically an illustrator he chronicled the ordinary lives of people in his time. He decorated the Saturday Evening Post covers and left a horde of holiday paintings. It is in the spirit of his work that I try to chronicle the ordinary world around me with my camera. I was not as gifted an illustrator as he but, with my camera, and HDR software I have found images that bring me joy and make me smile. I hope you enjoy them also. Best viewed in full view.
