However, the chickadee is a very trusting little bird if you have some seed or peanuts and the key is to be very still and quiet. The bird will also land on your hand if you present it with a few seeds. My problem was to operate my camera at the same time as I was feeding the birds. It took time to get it right and I took about 300 shots to get a few good ones because these guys move in and out quickly.
