This photo was taken by using Nikon Coolpix P6000, but later edited to make blur back ground as I wish to learn more of how to take a photo with a blur background by not using a help from Photoshop CS 5. Anyone who have this such experience, please kindly share it.

What a lovely shot. To get a blurred background you need to open up the aperture which narrows the depth of field or the focal range. Focus on your subject and the background should be less focused. Using a zoom lens or telephoto lens will help also.

I used Lightroom 4 for the color, a little HDR on the truck. Used a cloud overlay in gimp to make the sky pop. And i brought out the lines. "
