I just had to google "Mille Borne". Im gonna go with the excuse that Im from the South Pacific...yep thats the one lol thanks for the comment :)

I don't even think my son knows what it is, it was a game we had when I was a kid and we played it a lot. But the mile markers looked like that. :)

Oh indeed... been a good while since I played that game, it was quite popular in parts of Europe a quarter of a century ago ;)

The photo first puzzled me, as the signs exactly look like speed regulation signs... and the speed marked sounded more like turtle speed than something else.

I quite like the overall composition (though it is somewhat broken by the watermark), nicely thought out photo. Works well withouth golf balls, that would have been so small anyway... maybe a golf bag leaning onto the sign...

Perhaps I should've written out a proper caption (bad habit of mine...always blah away & never get to the point heh) & stated they were signs from a golf range. Haha noted on the watermark. Oh yes, a golf bag would've been good!
