Thank you, Janny, for a fabulous challenge this last week. "Rest" was a wonderful topic and very appropriate for the time of year. Now with the New Year upon us, I would like to see just the opposite and see things that are "In Motion". Hopefully those of you with New Year's resolutions to exercise can get out and catch some great action shots. Be creative and bring on the blur! Oh and Happy New Year to all of you!

Permalink Reply by Lolit C on January 6, 2013 at 1:06pm thanks Ian.. I did it a few hours before Amy posted the theme...so it was what popped up when she said motion and so I have to recreate it... I got different results but liked them as well.
It's easier than you think. christmas lights on black background. ..a few inches away from the rotating angry bird toy, then shot with a P&S G-12.... took me hundreds shot as well as I wanted to get both the rotation and the bokeh together. everything I did in a pitch dark room.

Permalink Reply by Lolit C on January 6, 2013 at 1:10pm thanks Amy... my place is where there are lots of birds but the weather I think lately kept them hibernating.... the brahimy was so far, so that's the best distance i could get focused. Last night I recreated what I did just after the new year coz I love lights in motion. :D
