Be careful Maria, I got my hand slapped when I hosted a challenge and used old photos as examples. :)

LOL, yeah I thought it wouldn't matter either since it was an "example" boy was I wrong, I'd leave it there just a heads up in case someone says something. :)

I only wish ppl would not make such a big deal out of this!!!!!!!!

Had it only be mentioned at the start!!

The way it’s put up it appears as if I have used a photograph that I haven’t clicked !!!

This is not even about being critical about the photograph

I am indeed disturbed by the response ... i have deleted my photograph i hope it suffice

There is something as disqualification n i can deal with that but accusing someone of killing dis challenge not done!!

And about killing the challenge well its killed enough...

Martina, I am sure you that you are getting all this very wrong. Willie's comment about 'someone killing the challenge' is just a comment on the general side indicating that no one is posting photos or any non-entries as it has indeed been quite a few days and the number of ppl posting photos is very low. 

No one is accusing of you anything nor is that comment is directed at anyone. I am sure moderators, challenge host and the regulars would agree with me on this.

And the deal about the old photo you have posted (if it was indeed an old one)..I am sure that Deborah  just asked you about it in a general way and not meant to offend you. It is obiviously difficult to write sensibly all the time as people from all around the world, with a passion for photography, take part here and sometimes anything written in english (not their native language)  could be interpreted in different ways. This is fun group and occasionally some unintentional misunderstanding may take place due to the written communication..so dont take anything here as offensive. 

We are all new here and ppl do make mistakes..for Eg. Even Maria forgot that her examples shots are not allowed in the challenge and Deborah warned her too. So I hope to see more of your work. You have got a talent...and I sure others here also agree.

I absolutely agree with Sandy. This is friendly and fun challenge. I can vouch on that after being in this community for year or so, which is relatively new. Martina, people here at this challenge don't want to offend anybody but keep up spirit of this challenge which is posting new pictures, This is fun part of it and number rule of this challenge. This makes this challenge apart and encourages you to take more pictures. Now, since new members may not be aware of this, it becomes important to convey the message to them. This does not mean to offend.

Now Willie's comment is not pertaining to this discussion but general overall comment, since very few entries were posted at that time.

Hope I am able to diffuse the situation a bit and looking forward to see more of your pics here on this challenge as well as others.

I agree with what Sandy said, Perhaps it was a new photo and your date is off on your camera - it has happened to me before. Sometimes on challenges I have to go back and check the group's rules as to number of entries, new shots, etc. because not all hosts remember to post that in the challenge.
