Thanks I use a DIY snoot made from plumbing parts, a 3" rubber sleeve to a  3" to 2" reducer  it slips right over the front of the flash

My former teacher and his wife. Made with softbox from left side of camera, and a golden reflektor on the right side.

 

 

MTaken with two flashes (light stands removed in postprocess). From front is used a softbox.

Nice shots Drew.  A modeling light would not be hard to do. 5500K-5600K Led camcorder light would do the trick

back in december i got to use my friends small studio setup. it was really fun. i liked using the softboxes alot. it was a three light set up by breitek i think. cheep monolights but they worked really well. i want to rigg a way to have a modleing lamp with a portible strobe . im thinking a led head lamp mounted under the strobe . idk tho  i call this one, "mini me would you like a hot pocket"

kool brian .ive got to get a soft box . i like being able to feather the light .
