After using various Fuji Bridge cameras decided to treat myself to a DSLR after many missed shots of birds in flight due to the shutterlag.  After looking at several decide on the Sony a350 and have never regretted it.

Hi, just found this forum.  I have a Sony A300 which is a few year old now, and earlier this year bought the A55.  I love the A55 and very rarely use the A300 these days as the A55 has such a great Menu system right at your fingertips, but I must admit, both cameras take great pictures.

bought and am enjoying using new a-580, came with kit 18-55 but sold it along with other lenses, put a new tamron 18-200 on my a-380 and tamron 18-250 on the a-580, apart from some zoom creep when using my long shoulder strap, easily sorted using the lens lock, also got a 500mm 1.8 lens but not got it out of the bag yet.

I used 550 with 18-55 and 18-250.

So far  I found out tis gear is very reliable.

Looking around my local Currys/Pcworld the other day and picked up a brand new mid range Nikon and put it straight back down because it didnt have a flip out back screen, are we being spoiled ? lol

A-55 vs A-580, cant choose but favor the 580, comments ? anyone bought the A-55 ?

why is the tamron 18-270 lens around £300 more expensive in sony alpha fitting ?

anyone bought the a-580 twin lens bundle ? and lastly is it worth buying the sony or sigma 18-250 as a leave it on the body multi use lens ?
