I do not like HDR so in my opinion u are right, But just cause it is not worth appling HDR methods does not mean that it should be released to the world unprocessed. Alqways show your best work.

yes ken, i'm realizing that now...the diffrence betw raw and jpeg esp with HDR, i'll explore LR more...I'm getting used to it than photoshop...am I right in this observation? that not all photos are worth HDRing? I still prefer the original colors and texture as of shooting?

To edit a jpg in lightroom simply import it into lightroom from disk or device switch to the develop module and u are on your way. You may find that you are limited on some of the adjustments you can make like white balance, Experience doing this will help u understand the advantages of shooting raw over jpg and visa versa.

thanks ken, yes, i admit that was really overexposed since it was taken at peak of noon, 2nd we we're just on tour then so i got to shoot on the spot... i think ur right let's just critique and not rate...i didnt do any PP on that one...yes i'd consider PP via photoshop or LR.

I like your waterfall pick Lolit, Nice composition, but did you do any post processing? I realize it came from a point and shoot and is a jpg but you can take jpgs throu lightroom or camera raw if u like or even uses Photoshop to do a levels layer if you have PS. The picture is over exposed and has a green cast.

Well you can do ratings if you like but my 8 might not be the same as your 8 if u give everyone 10s and I perhaps never give out 10s reserving them for Joe Mcnally if he ever submits a pic, lol

oh well...yes...maybe the rating scheme is not a good idea...ok, then let's start critiquing.
