My son has traveled to Germany and loves it there..so I'm sure it has its own sort of Beauty...but I know what you mean about this area. We are so spoiled!

I miss it so dearly. No beaches here in central Germany! The pacific ocean sure makes being a photographer an easy, rewarding job. So much to appreciate there that I took for granted. Looking forward to returning for Christmas. My hometown is calling!

Renee, I love Pacific Grove, I spend a lot of time at Lovers Point shooting the surfers and enjoying the beautiful area!

I lived in Pacific Grove for 20 years and just moved to Germany last month. I miss the central coast with all of my heart

I'm on the central coast, near Monterey

And the reason this area is great for photographers is that we have so many beautiful photo opps of the ocean, the mountains, the hills. We pretty much have it all and the climate is perfect! I love living here.
