Hello everyone, I live in the east bay and am fairly new to digital photography. So far, I only have a Fujifilm Finepix S4000 bridge camera and a Kodak z915 P&S. I will likely get a Nikon P500 soon and eventually I will purchase an SLR... probably going to save up to get a good one the first time. I do all my editing on my Lenovo lap top with mostly picassa3 and Gimp.

I have a painting, drawing and design background as far as formal training goes. I am retired from the sales and marketing world and shoot mostly around the bay.... love San Francisco, Lake Merrit and the Northern Coast. Later this year we will spend some time in wine country.

I am a photography novice at best and I hope to learn to do HDR and other fun things in the future.

This was taken from Olmstead Point in upper Yosemite near Toulome Meadows.

I think the group should be a good forum for N C photographers.  Any question or issue is open for discussion.

I am always looking for new and out of the way or unknown places to photograph and would be interested in others favorite "secret" places.

Hello everyone. I was the founder of this group the last time I was a member here. I left about a year ago but now I am back and hope we can together breath some life into this group. The Bridge photo is one of mine from 2010.

Hello everyone, I am from the Central Bay area. I shoot on the other side however, I have 2 Nikon DSLR cameras and numerous lenses. I am a freelance photographer part time and Work at the Sacrament Airport full time. I just retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service. Hi everyone, I am from Northern CA. between Stockton & Sac. I use a Canon XS Digital camera with the lens that came with the camera 18-55. Plan to purchase a Canon 100-400mm lens about July. I plan on going to Yosemite in Feb. if weather permits. Always been there in Summer but never in Winter.

I also enjoy doing motorcycles at bike events. Would like to get into photography more this yr.

I use a HP Photosmart c7280 printer, Windows Vista, and use Photoshop Elements.

Hi!  Glad to be here.  I'm using two Canon SLRs, one Canon DSLR, Canon Pixma MG8120 printer, Photoshop/Lightroom.  My laptop is an old Gateway, time to upgrade.
