Anyone have a D2x? I am having some exposure problems. I bought it used and it takes great studio shots but my outdoor shots and indoor shots suck. However, my indoor shots and outdoor shots on my D70 are great. Can someone help me with my settings.

I have just got Nikon D3 and I am experiencing shock. Shooting at ISO 6400 is normal. Photos look like pictures taken with other cameras at 400 ISO. Focusing is so accurate that I cannot believe it. It is a complicated camera with hundreds of functions but you can switch it to automatic regime and shoot excellent pictures just like with a compact camera. And then learn what all can be done with it. It is expensive but amazing. I am really excited.

Hi Chris...I learnt by experimenting with the different features. I still have a lot to learn...got it only a few months back...I think blogs are very helpful...

I own a D80 and very satisfied with the results. However, recently, about a month back, I noticed a lot of noise in my pictures even in daylight and high ISO. This happens only in the Manual (M) mode. I wonder why. I use the 18-135 Nikkor lens.
