So much to do, so very little time...but being here in MSS inspires me to stay on top of photo-related stuff I must attend to. My first question is: How can I share or upload an image to a specific group from whom I'd like to seek advice? The answer could be just out there but am not seeing it as yet distracted as I am by the myriad facets of this site...thanks a bunch. Bee

BEING ABLE TO SEE PHOTOS BY RATING DOESN'T WORK WELL
When I look at the category of Photos, it gives an option to be able to see the Photos by Newest, Most Popular, Highest Rated, or Random. When you click on Most Popular or Highest Rated, the Photos do not correspond with that description at all. I would think the software would be able to do this. Have you tried it? With so many photographs, it is nice to be able to sort them in different ways. WHO CAN BE ASKED ABOUT THIS?

I have only one really good suggestion for all involved in Digital photo...Take as many pictures as you can of your subjects as they can be deleted when reviewing them...If you are choosey when shooting you might miss a photo that you really wanted...Remember digitial pictures are free until you decide to keep one (cost of printing)...The average person probably winds up with about 10% of the total taken after you are finished reviewing...Remember Keep on Shooting...Have a big enough memory card so you can really enjoy yourself...

Hi! I've been a member for about 2 weeks. Been wandering around the site learning every step of the way. Having a great time while I'm at it. I've added a few pics already and even gotten help from people I've never met! So far I love it here.
I don't have a portfolio. Don't even know how to go about getting one set up, or is that just done by adding my work here? I am very new to digital photography and computers so please don't mind my silly little questions! lol I have learn learn it somehow, and if I don't ask I can't learn.

Hope to make many friends here. Have fun, I am! :o)

Feels a little more personal than other sites such as Flickr, and the photo quality is impressive. Looks like there are some very creative members around, so I'm looking forward to improving my technique.
