I've seen them dozens of times in my flower gardens. They usually come out right after a good rain. I've never been lucky enough to get any decent pictures of them because they are always too fast. lol Good capture!

Gorgeous. Did you know what he's doing? It's called puddling. They land on the grund and absorb the salt from urine left there. I have a few pics like that too.

Puddling
Have you ever seen a cluster of butterflies on moist soil in your garden? This little event is called puddling. Most of the butterflies are probably males drawing up minerals from the soil. The small amounts of sodium in the soil give the male butterflies nutrients that enhance their libido.
