Another privilege to hold a daily challenge - thank you deborah.

I am sure you guys have visited parks near your home. Wanting some peace and quite from the dalily life,  I myself visit them too. So the challenge is to post photos of Parks - prefereablly wide angle shots that show that park that you visit or visited before. It need not be of the one you have near your house..It can be any park - an exhibition park, a botanical garden..anything. Just that I would prefer normal wide angle shots and not a zoomed photo of statue or bench in that park

1 entry and NE spam allowed ; editing and archive shots obviously allowed.

Challenge will end on 26th Nov - around 8 pm GMT.

Have a great weekend guys and enjoy :)

start it off with some NE's from the same Park.. haha this park hold childhood memories for me some good and some bad..

foggy with low light

just add green

two is company, three is a crowd

Very nice set of NE's, Gareth! The second one is my favorite.

Bingo on identifying the first one Gareth !! : ) Looks like foggy morning too. I had photographed mine over the summer (march i think)...had visited nottingham for a couple of days. and I love parks and birds :)

Great set of NE. Which park is the last one from ?

Highfields Park, all 3 shots from the same place this morning.. this was taken a little further up near the stepping stones and waterfall (when they bother to turn it on)

My Entry for the Weekly Challenge is at Nottingham Science Park - Literally across the road from Highfields.. did you see it?

Yeah, it's great! You're privileged to have such a wonderful place nearby!

i don't even know what they do their in ways of sience but they turned a disused marsh/bog land into a great feature that really stands out..

Yeah i remember now about the science center there Gareth..loved that photo too. Your photos make me want to visit this park again in winter..want to see what is going on with the birds there these days.

you should visit wollaton park aswell.. birds/deer/trees/lake/gardens and of course the very old building (wollaton hall).. the photo opportunities are endless

thank you my friend..much appreciate it !! :)

Great series, love the foggy mist on the water.

Ohh I must Add..please give the name of the park if possible..its great to share that information i think.

In my examples above.  the first two are from WEstern Park , Sheffield, UK and the last one as Gareth identified rightly its  Highfields park, Nottingham, UK

My Entry,

"Longs Park - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA"

I realized I rarely ever shoot in a park and when I do the images usually dont show that its part of a park.
