This group is based upon the proverb "A picture is worth a thousand words", referring to the idea that complex stories can be described with just a single still image.

This does not mean that an image must be categorised as photo journalism but it should have the ability to open the imagination of those who view it.
Each month will see the addition of a new theme and those posting images are asked not to describe the intention of the picture (if indeed there is one) so as not to influence the comments left by others.
I look forward to seeing the images and reading the interpretations, as well as adding my own!

AS FROM JULY, YOU MUST DESCRIBE YOUR INTERPRETATION OF AT LEAST ONE IMAGE ALREADY IN THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING YOUR OWN PHOTO. THIS IS TO HELP BRING THE GROUP BACK INTO LINE WITH IT'S TRUE INTENTION WHICH IS TO DESCRIBE WHAT AN IMAGE MEANS TO YOU.

Hi everyone. Just a quick note to apologise for my lack of input into the group over the last few months. I'm currently taking exams so I have asked Jova to help out and I'm sure you will agree that he is doing a wonderful job.
