I have been trying to add some photos to my page today but the colours seem to be so vivid and bright.  I had to delete them again. Is anyone else having the same trouble?  I have never had this problem before.

Yes, I was considering adding my new profile pic to my photos but the blue looked overpowering.

I wasn't sure if the problem was my uncalibrated monitor but you have confirmed my suspicions (vbg).

Thanks, M.  My monitor is perfectly calibrated so that cannot be the problem.

I just added a colour photo for the first time since I last wrote and I`m still having problems with the colours.  The picture looks awful so I deleted it. I can`t imagine that I`m the only one having this problem.  Anyone else out there????

It looks like I`ll be sticking to B/W in future.

Oh, that's pretty interesting Wayne, thanks for the link.

If this is the case, Jackie's photos would still display correctly on most users' browsers (and incorrectly for some anyway).

Thanks for the reply, Wayne.  I don`t have Firefox but Internet Explorer.  I`ve asked my computer-literate partner to check it out for me and see what the problem could be.

Safari is my browser of choice, Jackie, but I'm having  problems with a too vibrant blue on Facebook as well as MSS.   My profile pic here on MSS is a monochrome edit done on Picnik which is much more subtle on my computer than here on MSS but even worse on FB.

I also concur with Wayne's observation that the colours shift when an image is resized.

Let me know what Markus makes of the situation, pls.

Not really
