Greetings from Europe

Hi! I'm new here - I found this community thanks to a friend on DeviantArt and I am really impressed with it. :) I'm still not done exploring, but I hope to familiarize with it soon.

I am an amateur who loves photography wholeheartedly - especially nature photography, but also conceptual, industrial and abstract. I started fiddling with photography in my teens (I'm in my 20s now) with my grandpa's camera, then moved onto digital with various affordable models. A few years ago I got a marine pack for my Sony camera, it has been useless since my camera got stolen. At the moment, I own a Canon digital ixus 60 and can't complain about it. =)

While at first photography was just a way to record 3D, illustrative, documentary notes to me, now I want to improve and explore the medium as an independent art form. I'm planning on taking a photography course as soon as I can afford it.

Beside my interest in photography, I work as a full-time writer and live with my significant other, a fluffy cat and a turtle. =) Nice to meet you all!
